Chapter Information

The Arkansas Chapter of ASSE has over 180 members with a mission to promote the safety, health, and environmental profession in the state. The chapter offers educational meetings, seminars, conventions and networking opportunities. All safety, health and environmental practitioners are encouraged to join ASSE but non-members are welcome at chapter events and meetings. The chapter offers the following specific programs:

  • Quarterly Chapter Meetings in Central, Northwest and Northeast Arkansas
  • Annual OSHA Update in the Fall
  • Annual Govrnor's Safety and Health Management Conference
  • Job Listings for Safety, Health & Environmental Jobs in Arkansas
  • Technical Reference Material Available through Local Libraries
  • ASP/CSP Study Groups, Materials and Mentoring Program

Membership

Membership in ASSE is open to any person practicing in the safety, health and/or environmental field. Membership classifications are based on certifications, education, experience, and job responsibilities. Memberships are classified as:

  • Student Member
